A notice was issued by the Junagadh Municipal Corporation regarding the removal of Dargah pressure at Majewadi Gate and it was asked to submit the necessary documents within five days. Over which mobs of people from the minority community gathered late at night, where a clash took place between the police and the people. The police fired tear gas shells as they pelted stones. About 180 suspects have been rounded up in this matter. The suspects were caught by the police. Out of them, 34 persons were produced in person by the Junagadh Mamlatdar last night and granted bail under Section 151. On the other hand, a complaint was filed against 31 people who attacked the police and a case of rioting has been filed against a crowd of more than 500 people. At present, a tight police presence has been arranged in all the sensitive areas of Junagadh.

What is a tear gas gun diamarker?
On the issue of tear gas, Junagadh DySP BC Thakkar said that a crowd of people attacked the police near the shrine near Junagadh Majewadi Darwaza. On the basis of CCTV footage, human intelligence, the presence of the mob will be checked and detained.

The mob attacked the police station

An angry mob lit a lamp in the petrol tank of a police bike and set it on fire. When the Junagadh-Vijaynagar ST bus passing through here was stopped and vandalized. Apart from this, the uncontrollable mob attacked the Majewadi police station near the Majewadi Gate and also ransacked it. The police and the gathered people clashed, in which the Junagadh DSP and other policemen were injured.​​​​​​
