- Ophthalmology has been running for 2 years with the help of a hospital in Rajkot
An Ophthalmologist for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and free operation of cataract has been running in the district for the last 2 years. So far in more than 24 camps more than 1200 people have been treated for eye diagnosis and more than 550 people have been provided cataract surgery.
Efforts are being made to bring light to people’s lives through Netramani Netrayagya Camp in Surendranagar city for 2 years. Lohana Hetarakshak Samiti Kekin Ganatra, Nishit Pujara, Atish Pujara, Ramesh Somaiya, Prakash Dakshini, Piyush Halani and Kiritbhai Trivedi, Rameshbhai Joshi, K.N. Rajdev, Rameshbhai Bhatt, selfless people started the work.
In which presently the service work is being conducted with the help of Rajkot Ranchoddasji Bapu Charitable Hospital Eye Hospital with the support of Bharatbhai Kothari, Nileshbhai Trivedi and Lions Club-Main Surendranagar Udaybhai Atulbhai Mukeshbhai Vasani Amit Vora. In the eye yajna which started from 22-6-2021, more than 1200 people have been treated in 24 camps for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and more than 550 patients have been given free operation.
Camp organized on 22nd of every month
A free camp is organized in Surendranagar on 22nd of every month. In which the camp is held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm near Lions Hall Patrawali Chowk Nani Shakmarket of Lions Club of Surendranagar. In which the patients are diagnosed and treated by the team of Dr. Alkesh Kerdia, Dr. Jani, Bharatbhai Borisagar doctors of Ranchoddasji Bapu Charitable Hospital-Rajkot.
