The National Child Health Scheme has been implemented by the Government of Gujarat keeping in mind the health of children. Under this scheme, health check-up of children aged 0 to 18 years is done by the employees of the health department. If a child shows symptoms of any illness, all the expenses related to health are taken from the government of Gujarat by providing health facility to remove that illness. As a part of which, a program for health screening of more than 400 students was conducted at Primary School Tilakwara by the RBSK team of Tilakwara Health Department today and this work is going on.
Several schemes have been implemented by the Gujarat government with the aim of ensuring that children get proper education and the necessary development of children. Also, RBSK i.e. Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Yojana has been implemented with the aim of health-oriented screening of children and to ensure that every child remains healthy and fit.
Under this scheme, health department employees go to every school and check the students. Children aged 0 to 18 years are given every health-oriented check-up and if any child shows symptoms of illness, immediate health facility is provided to remove that illness. All the health related expenses are borne by the Gujarat government.
As a part of which today Tilakwada Taluka Health Officer Dr. Under the guidance of Subodh Kumar, the RBSK team of Tilakwara Health Department organized a program for health screening of children at Primary School Tilakwara.
During this program, the height, length, eye examination, blood examination and health related examination of the school students were done. During this program more than 400 students were health checked. Tilakwada Health Department organized this program with the aim of making every child healthy and able to participate in the progress of the country.
