Dhas depots in Jamnagar district have had sufficient stock of hay for a long time. Dhans has not been distributed for the last three years. In my constituency Jamjodhpur-Lalpur taluka, large quantity of bamboo is available in the godowns near Peppertoda, Sadodar and Badeshwar in addition to the reserved quantity. In addition, there is a danger of spoiling the amount of this grass in the open due to rain. Due to unseasonal rains in Gujarat, the fodder of groundnuts and other agricultural products of the farmers has spoiled. If dhans is distributed before the coming monsoon, the quality of dhans can be prevented from deteriorating and farmers can also get dhans on time.
Earlier also Hemant Khawa wrote a letter to the Chief Minister about this matter. But so far no action has been taken in the above matter, now there is only 8-10 days left before the onset of monsoon, there is a good chance that the quantity of rice will deteriorate. Due to the clumsy policies of the government, when cattle are starving without fodder, if a quick decision is taken and distribution of fodder is taken, deterioration of fodder can be prevented. Hence MLA Hemant Khawa has written a letter to the Chief Minister to take appropriate positive action to distribute the dhas in the Dhansa depot in Jamnagar district as soon as possible.
