Ahmedabad Mumbai National Highway is bustling with vehicles 24 hours a day. Accidents with heavy loaded vehicles sometimes cause heavy losses. A milk tanker from Junagadh Mother Dairy carrying about 28,960 liters of milk left Un Patiya in Navsari district on July 1 at around 11:00 pm while it left Navsari district on July 3 at 12:00 pm. At about 30 pm, on the track of Highway No. 48 from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, a little ahead of the State of Village Hotel, the tanker driver braked while trying to save a cow suddenly coming into the middle of the road, so it overturned after losing control of the tanker. Out of which around 10,000 liters of milk worth seven lakhs was spilled on the highway after which a crane was called and the tanker was raised. After immediately emptying the tanker to the mother dairy at Bhiwandi, Mumbai, the driver has filed a cognizable complaint at the rural police station regarding the accident. .
In this entire accident, fortunately, no other damage was reported except for the loss of milk due to the fact that another vehicle coming behind the tanker did not cause an accident. When the number of accidents involving cattle on the highway has increased, the Gramya police have started an investigation into this matter.
