Ahmedabad Crime Branch has caught the mastermind of the gang who impersonated CBI officers in states like Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Orissa and extorted money from them. This person was not working alone but with a whole team. As soon as a person with money appeared, the whole team would get ready. First the team men were taken to the sahib and later the common man was robbed. The mastermind of this entire racket has been caught by PI Mitesh Trivedi of Ahmedabad Crime Branch.

A team of Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested a conman who used to extort money from people on the pretext of checking or security by giving the identity of his CBE officer in different ways. The name of the arrested accused is Sultan Khan Ahmed Khan. Who is the mastermind of the whole racket. Originally from Madhya Pradesh, Sultan Khan was working with a whole team and extorting money from people.

After setting the target, the plan of the gang would start
Ahmedabad Crime Branch PI Mitesh Trivedi told Divya Bhaskar that Sultan was posing as a CBI officer in states like Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Orissa and stopping people on the pretext of checking. The modus operandi of this gang was such that Sultan’s men used to deploy within 100, 200 meters near the police station of any area. Whenever a rich person came out, Sultan’s men used to reach there and tell that person that Saheb is sitting in front of the car and is a senior officer of CBI. They have been posted recently and are doing important checks. You meet sir. So according to the whole plan, the men of this gang were taking the rich person to the Sultan. Then the plan of this gang started.

Dressed in uniform and arranged for checking
Once the gang men took the target to Sultan, Sultan used to talk to him in different ways. While the Sultan would keep him busy talking, the others would check his bag and if they found any valuables in the bag, they would take it. Similarly, the Sultan and his men used to wear uniforms and line up for checking on the road. Actually, the uniform was a duplicate, but so that no one would find out, the i-card was also made. Ahmedabad crime branch has now caught Sultan, who was robbing people by identifying himself as a CBI officer in different states.

Icard and uniform of CBI have been recovered from Sultan. which he had obtained wrongly. Then the police are investigating in this direction. Currently, this fake CBI officer is being interrogated by Ahmedabad Crime Branch in this whole matter. Sultan, who is wanted in different states, is now in the lockup of Ahmedabad Crime Branch.
