After the engagement of the young man, lovers Gaurang Nayaka and Roshni Nayaka began to fear to stay away from each other. Both loved each other so much that they were not allowed to be apart. So that both may not live together, but can face death together. Thinking like that, they reached the Purna river bridge passing near Mudat village of Mahuva with the Activa. Later, he put the Activa on the side and jumped from the bridge into the river saying ‘we wanted to live together, but the family didn’t believe’. As the water in the river was far away, there were only stones below.

Where the youth died on the spot due to further injuries. While girlfriend Roshni Nayaka was rushed to Sardar Hospital in Bardoli via 108, she also died during the short treatment. Thus the lovebirds who wanted to live with each other chose death. Mahuva police are currently conducting further investigation regarding the entire incident.
