Smugglers raided Adalaj’s Sentosa Neemland Bungalows, looted valuables worth Rs 6.81 lakh, including gold and silver jewellery.

Taking advantage of the sound sleep of the Shah family in the Sentosa Neemland bungalow of Adalaj, Gandhinagar, the smugglers removed the bar of the kitchen window of the house and got gold, silver, cash and mobile phones from inside and got a total of Rs. 6. A complaint of theft of goods worth 81 lakhs has been registered in the police register.

Keur Ashokkumar Shah residing in Sentosa Neemland Bungalows No-24 Opposite Balaji Cottage, Adalaj owns a firm named VKJD & Associates at Ahmedabad as a Chartered Accountant. Last night he went upstairs to sleep with his wife and son.

When downstairs his parents were sleeping with the main door of the house locked from inside. Today at around half past six in the morning, his mother informed all the members of the house after finding out that the house had been stolen. So Keyur Shah came down and saw that the lower rod was removed from the kitchen window of the house. And the wooden closet door in the bedroom was open. When the drawers were also open.

The belongings of the room were scattered. Therefore, after further investigation, he found 2 gold bangles, 2 gold disco rice and 2 pearl rice chains, 1 gold ring, 2 pairs of gold earrings, gold shares, 3 gold chuni, 1 pair of silver narrows, 30 silver sticks, 30 silver judas. 3, silver sets 3 pairs, silver Lord’s coins no-10, cash 10 thousand and two mobile phones totaling Rs. 6.81 lakh was found to have been stolen by smugglers.

Adalaj police rushed to the spot following this incident. And a dog squad and a team of finger print experts were called to investigate the surrounding areas. Even though the entire Shah family was present in the house, the smugglers carried out the burglary in the cold college, leaving other settlers also stranded.
