The low-level bridge of Kharera river connecting Vaghaldhara village of Valsad taluka and Undach village of Navsari district has come to face the problem as the water is overflowing in the first rain. In just a few rains, the rain water overflowing the bridge and sinking the low level bridge, it is the turn of the villagers to suffer a lot. For the last 20 years, the villagers have been demanding to raise the causeway. However, as the bridge is not raised, children going to school, pedestrians, people going to work are forced to cross the bridge at the risk of their lives.

The people have come to face a disaster as the Kharera river bridge passing through the village of Vaghaldhara on the border of Valsad district and Navsari district got submerged in water in a few rains. Villagers have been forced to cross this bridge at the risk of their lives.

Rain has already started in Valsad taluka. Then the villagers were forced to wade for 10 to 15 kilometers as this bridge sank in a few rains. Around 15 people of the village commute from this bridge, it is the turn of the people to suffer due to the closure of this bridge. Despite the repeated requests of the villagers to raise this causeway, the villagers have come to suffer due to the non-construction of this bridge by the system.
