Your demand for speedy construction of the bridge on the Outer Ring Road

Surat Municipal Corporation has constructed a bridge over Outer Ring Road near Valak Patiya. This bridge has been built as people face great difficulty in crossing Tapi river from Abrama to Valak village. Aam Aadmi Party corporator has written a letter to Mayor of Surat to open this bridge quickly.

Bridge ready but delay in starting
A bridge has been constructed to cross the Tapi River in Valak area of the Outer Ring Road under construction in Sarthana East Zone – B included in Surat Municipal Corporation. Which is now fully operational and can be opened for public use. From Abrama to Valak, motorists have to take one route via Kamrej, which forces an additional distance of 18 to 20 km, and another route via Big Varachha to Valak. In which motorists have to cover an additional distance of eight to ten kilometers. In such a situation, even if the bridge is prepared at the cost of crores of rupees, if it is not opened for the people quickly, then naturally many questions arise.

An attempt to open the bridge with the public
AAP corporator Mahesh Anghan said that the big leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party may not have time to open this bridge, due to which people have to cover a distance of 8 to 10 kilometers to go from Valak to Abrama. This wastes time and fuel and creates pollution. We recommend planning to open this bridge for public within 7 days and if the bridge is not open then we will keep the public together and open this bridge for public, for which you will be fully responsible.
