Assistance is provided by Gujarat State Government in case of accidental death against natural calamities. Another example of the state government’s sensitivity was seen recently at Sonaria village in Amreli taluka. It may be mentioned that 15 days ago a person died due to lightning at Sonaria village. Assistance is paid by the State Government in case of accidental death. A government assistance check of Rs.4 lakh was handed over to the family of the deceased, the godmother of the deceased by the Deputy Chief Constable of the Legislative Assembly Kaushik Vekaria. According to the details, Balabhai Karshanbhai Vaghela, aged 48 years, was sitting in Sonaria bus station area and he died suddenly due to lightning strike in rainy weather. There was no end to the family’s difficulties due to financial constraints in the family and the sudden death of Mobhi, the breadwinner in the family, including his wife Pravinaben, was worried about this. So Sonaria Village Sarpanch and Talati Minister filed an application for Accidental Death Assistance, which was approved by the District Panchayat Amreli and the assistance was approved and the assistance check was presented to Pravinaben, the godfather of the deceased.
Pravinaben Balabhai Vaghela and his family have received financial support in case of accidental death by the sensitive Gujarat government, Pravinaben expressed his gratitude to the Gujarat state government. He said that this assistance will help us in livelihood. “Government stands by the victims” was achieved once again with the Gujarat State Government presenting a relief cheque. Taluka Panchayat Amreli Vice President Vanrajbhai Kothiwal, Executive Committee Chairman Nikulbhai, Social Justice Committee Chairman Mukeshbhai Bagda, Amreli Taluka Development Officer, Sonaria Sarpanch Jilubhai Dhadhal, Talati Com Minister and village leaders were present at the time of presenting the aid check.
