An illegal laboratory called Red Plus was seized by the health department team in a shop behind a veterinary hospital in Umrala taluk of Bhavnagar district. A case was registered against two persons including the manager of the laboratory at Umrala police station.

An investigation by a health department team revealed that the ISAM had tampered with people’s health by conducting as many as 40 laboratory tests without proper qualifications.
