- In The Last 24 Hours In The District, 5 Talukas Received More Than Four Inches Of Rain, Pardi Received Seven And A Half Inches.

With the onset of monsoon in the state, Mehulyo is raining in Kelsad district. A wave of happiness is being seen among the farmers as the rain entered with a bang in Valsad. Out of the 6 talukas of Valsad district, 5 talukas have received more than 100mm of rain on Wednesday. Due to which the rains for sowing are coming on time, the farmers are engaged in agricultural work. In Valsad district, Pardi taluka recorded the highest rainfall of 169 mm in 24 hours ending this morning. While the lowest rainfall of 85 mm has been recorded in Kaprada taluk. Local people got relief from the heat due to Meghraja’s grand entry in the district. While the low-lying areas and the Mograwadi and Chipwad railway under-pass of Valsad city in Abey Vapi railway under-pass, the low-lying areas including Bhilad railway under-pass were flooded by rain water.
