In one month, out of 70 thousand, 41 thousand cases were proceeded and 1427 people paid penalty before action, 9 lakh fine was paid. 41 thousand cases out of 70 thousand cases were proceeded in Ahmedabad traffic court and 1427 people paid fine earlier, fine of 9 lakhs was paid.

In Gujarat, cases are now transferred to virtual traffic courts after 90 days of sending the e-memo. So far, about 70 thousand cases have come in the e-court in this procedure which started from last May 3. In which 41,722 cases have been proceeded. While 1427 people have already paid the fine before the court proceedings. Not only this, during this period, the state has so far accumulated a fine of 9 lakhs.

A virtual traffic court has been launched at Metropolitan Court of Ahmedabad for e-memo of traffic from May 3. One Nation One Challan project has been coordinated with the challan of traffic police RTOs in the state. Under the guidance of the Supreme Court, virtual traffic courts have been launched for the entire state of Gujarat under the auspices of the e-court project.

E-challan integrated in 3 major cities of the state
Currently, e-challans of Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot cities have been integrated. A total of 64,340 cases from Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot have come up in the traffic court since the inception of this court till May 31. Out of which 37,922 proceedings have been done. Out of which 1244 people have paid the fine online. 7,73,200 rupees have been recovered under this penalty.

5460 cases came in three days of June
If we talk about the current month, there have been 5,460 cases from June 1 to June 3. Out of which 3,800 cases have proceeded, while 183 people have paid the fine online. In which a fine of 1,27,250 rupees has been received.

If the fine is not paid after 90 days, it is sent to the traffic court
It may be mentioned that if traffic and RTO e-challan fine amount is not paid within 90 days then after that time period e-challan is automatically sent to virtual traffic court server. In these cases, a notice is sent to the vehicle owner and an SMS is sent to the mobile phone. This SMS also contains a link to pay fine online. If the fine payer objects to the amount of the fine, the case will be referred to the court of that city for trial.

E-Challan has to be filled with SBI E Payment
Payment of this e-challan is linked to SBI e-payment gateway. In which fine can be paid through credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking etc.
