While 1427 people have already paid the fine before the court proceedings. Not only this, during this period, the state has so far accumulated a fine of 9 lakhs.
A virtual traffic court has been launched at Metropolitan Court of Ahmedabad for e-memo of traffic from May 3. One Nation One Challan project has been coordinated with the challan of traffic police RTOs in the state. Under the guidance of the Supreme Court, virtual traffic courts have been launched for the entire state of Gujarat under the auspices of the e-court project.
E-challan integrated in 3 major cities of the state
Currently, e-challans of Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot cities have been integrated. If the fine is not paid after 90 days, it is sent to the traffic court
It may be mentioned that if traffic and RTO e-challan fine amount is not paid within 90 days then after that time period e-challan is automatically sent to virtual traffic court server. In these cases, a notice is sent to the vehicle owner and an SMS is sent to the mobile phone. This SMS also contains a link to pay fine online. If the fine payer objects to the amount of the fine, the case will be referred to the court of that city for trial.
E-Challan has to be filled with SBI E Payment
Payment of this e-challan is linked to SBI e-payment gateway. In which fine can be paid through credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking etc.
