A case has been registered in Sector-7 Police Station after a brazen person forcibly extorted 3500 rupees from his friend after demanding a ransom of five lakhs from a young man of Sector-2 near the corner of Gandhinagar Sector-3.

Jignesh Balubhai Patel, a native of Ankleshwar, residing in Sector – 2/C Plot No. – 1599/2, Gandhinagar runs a shop named Global Xerox in Nisarga Complex near G-2 Circle. About eight months ago, Sameer Solanki was working in his shop. As his friend was Gaurav Vaghela (Res.Sector.6, next to Gayatri Hospital), he used to come to the Xerox shop.

Due to which Jignesh befriended Gaurav. Ten months ago, Gaurav Vaghela was arrested for possession of illegal weapons. So Gaurav suspected that Jignesh and his friend Parth, who lived behind his house, had been caught by the police, so he called both of them to Sameer’s house. Hence Jignesh went to Sameer’s house with his friend Meetesh Vyas.

Where Parth’s parents also went. Meanwhile, Gaurav went to Sameer’s house with his three friends in a four-wheeler. And started shouting. So, since Sameer was not present at home, his parents explained Gaurav. Later, Gaurav took Jignesh-Meetesh in the car to the open field in front of Chehar Mataji’s temple near the corner of Sector-3, asking them to go for dinner.

Later Jignesh started telling me why he was arrested by the police. And Gaddapatu started beating. Meanwhile, Gaurav along with his friends washed Jignesh with a washcloth and a bat remover. So when Mitesh got in the way, Gaurav threatened to kill him saying that he will not let him go home if he does not give five lakh rupees. And from Mitesh Rs.
