Ahmedabad Traffic Police will deploy policemen at different underpasses within the city to protect people during rains. Along with this, if the intensity of rain is more, the Ahmedabad police have made preparations to close the underpass as well. The Ahmedabad Traffic Police has made an action plan to prevent the city dwellers from getting disturbed during heavy rains and storms.

Action plan of traffic police regarding storm Wind and rain forecast after afternoon, if rain water fills the underbridge, the underbridge will be closed. Traffic police will be deployed on the underbridge and diversions will be provided. On the other hand, will work with AMC to remove the water accumulated on the road. If there is a tree or hoarding, it will be removed along with the AMC.
