The family filed a complaint
The details of this incident are that Faisal Mohammad Ali Weaver, who lives near Avadhut Gate near Tenstile Company, lured a minor girl living in Manjalpur area of ​​the city into a love trap. A complaint was lodged at the Manjalpur police station by the girl’s family regarding the abduction incident that took place on 29th August 2016.

The accused was arrested from Chennai
The police had registered a case under kidnapping and POCSO and launched investigation cycles. After an intensive search by the police, the victim and the abductor, Faisal Vankar, were arrested from Chennai. When the police detained both, the victim girl became a mother of one child. She gave birth to a baby girl. The police conducted a medical examination of both of them and filed a charge sheet against the accused Faisal Wankar in the court, registering a crime of kidnapping, POCSO and rape.

3 lakh ordered to pay compensation
Government Advocate H.R. Considering Joshi’s strong arguments and the evidence presented by the investigating officer, Fifth Additional Sessions Judge M.M. Syed convicted the accused Faisal Wankar and sentenced him to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000. Also ordered to pay compensation of 3 lakhs to the victim.
