Intensive checking of paneer is being done by the food branch of Vadodara Corporation. In which 26 samples of paneer were taken from different areas in the last 4 days and 9 unlicensed firms were closed as per the Food Safety and Standards Act.

Notice of Schedule-4 regarding sanitation matters
Different teams of Food Safety Officers of Food Branch of Vadodara Corporation were formed from June 19 to 22 in Vadodara city at Fateganj, Nizampura, Kalali, Atladara, O. P. Road, Ajwa Road, Waghodia Road, Makarpura Novino Road, 2 food vending establishments, 59 restaurants, 15 dairy units in the area were checked. Out of which 26 samples of cheese have been taken and sent to Public Health Laboratory, Fateganj for analysis. Apart from this, 9 firms have been closed for not having a license as per the Food Safety and Standards Act. All the 16 food business operators have been served Schedule-4 notices regarding hygiene as the 16 firms are not maintaining hygienic conditions as per the Food Safety and Standards Act.

Manufactured by Ratnaraj Nutra Science L, L. P, Plot no. /B takes place at Panchan Industrial Estate, Changodar, Ahmedabad. A total of 1 sample of Leafer Suspension was seized by Food Safety Officers of Food Branch from Nagaraj Medical Agency Institution Colony, Raopura 38 bottles of 200 ml worth 3800 in the custody of food business operator. Manufactured at Zeon Biotech Private Limited, Plot No. 1307/ 1308 Phase-II, Vatwa, Ahmedabad. Thus, intensive inspection of cheese sold in the city will be continued as a special drive in the future as well.
