UGC and University of Kutch approved employment oriented courses have been started in Lalan College, in which Certificate in Disaster Management, Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environment, Diploma in Fire and Safety, Advanced Diploma in Disaster Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management courses have been started while Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety is expected to be approved. This course can be done alongside ongoing studies. To get admission in it one should have 12th pass or diploma from GTU.

There is no age bar. 30 seats have been allotted for these courses. Medium of study is Gujarati and English. The study is free from Sahitya Kendra. Study timings are 4 to 6 pm. In all courses, first year pass leads to certificate course, second year pass to diploma degree, third year pass to advance diploma degree. Entry timings are 9:30 am to 1:00 am.
