FICCI FLO Vadodara, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) which currently has over 300 women entrepreneur members, organized a highly successful and popular “Shark Tank 2.0” event on 30 June 2023. In which four influential women entrepreneurs Geeta Gordia, Shivani Patel, Vaibhavi Gandhi and Neha Shah as “Sharks” and four inspiring NGOs namely Mahaveer Foundation, Jump Start, Simple Did and Circle of Care were given a total of Rs 40 lakhs for social works. The objective of this event is to become a bridge between businessmen and good social organizations, so that social organizations get adequate financial support for service works.

Planning Shark Tank for two years
FIKKI FLOW Vadodara Chapter just completed one year in April and currently has more than 300 women members. The idea of ​​Shark Tank was pitched to Fikki Flow last year by Barkha Amin, the then vice chairperson and this year’s chairman, and the event received great response last year itself.

4 institutions received funding of 40 lakhs
In the second year of the Shark Tank held this year, a total of four social organizations received a whopping amount of Rs 40 lakh from this Shark Tank. 12,00,000 to Circle of Care, 11,00,000 to Jump Start Foundation, 8,40,000 to Mahaveer Foundation and 2,54,000 to Simple Did Foundation. While another 6 lakhs were collected from the members present. This extraordinary achievement shows the commitment and generosity towards the society of the participating businessmen, who will spread the aroma of positive deeds through the upliftment of the society and their social initiatives.
