India’s economy is back on track after Corona. The proof of this comes from the country’s exports. Along with the country, there has been an unprecedented increase in exports from Kutch and Gujarat. Up to the month of January of the year 2022-23, 7900.37 million dollars have been exported from Kutch with an increase of 29.61 percent! While 123905 million dollars have been exported from Gujarat in this period. Gujarat’s contribution to the country’s total exports is 33.30 percent and Kutch’s contribution is 2.12 percent.

The figures up to January 2023 have been released in the February monthly publication of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. In which the total export of the country till January-23 in the year 2022-23 has become 372117 million dollars. Against this, 33.30 percent of the country’s total export worth 123905 million dollars has been exported from Gujarat.

So Kutch has exported 7900.37 million dollars till January. In the same period last year, 6095 million dollars were exported from Kutch. Exports from Aam Kutch have seen an increase of 29 percent. Among the top 10 export districts in the country, Kutch ranks 10th. Kutch is home to two major ports of the country, both government and private sector. Ports of Kutch rank first in terms of cargo handling.
