Delegates from home and abroad are registering their presence in the ongoing G20 Summit in the vicinity of the world’s largest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sahib at the World Heritage Statue of Unity Ektanagar. The foreign delegates attending the business summit were given a tour of various tourism projects.

After a seminar-press conference at Ektanagar, the foreign guests visited Ektamol promoting Indian handicrafts by emulating the slogan of Vocal for Local. After that, all the delegates visited Narmada Dam, the lifeblood of Gujarat state. The delegates were very impressed after seeing the view of Narmada Dam. From the dam site, the delegates had a grand view of the Satapuda-Vindhyachal hills, natural beauty, forest vegetation and the colossal statue of Sardar Sahib, including the opportunity to see Maa Narmada.

The foreign delegates had the privilege of having a close look at an amazing, incredible, unimaginable, world’s largest statue. Foreign guests were overwhelmed by the infrastructure at first sight of the statue. Further, apart from watching a film on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity, a photo exhibition was also displayed and the dignitaries who watched him also took a commemorative group photo.

At Tent CT-2 for foreign delegates, various works depicting the overview of Gujarat with a glimpse of Indian culture were presented during the cultural programme. The guests had a glimpse of the Indian culture by relishing the dishes prepared from the ‘Sri Anna’ Indian traditional millets.
