Sarpanch Kanchanben Durhabjibhai Varsada of Aniyari village of Morbi taluk has been ordered to be removed from the post of Sarpanch as he is unable to perform his duties as Varsada Sarpanch.

A total of 11 works have been sanctioned at the village level under the finance commission out of fifteen. Out of which 3 works have been completed till now while 8 works have not started yet. A total of 3 beneficiaries have been sanctioned plots of 100 square meters at Aniyari village. There is no pressure of any kind as per the lay-out plan. The Talati cum Minister had prepared a charter regarding the allotment of the plot. The sarpanch refused to sign that charter and the sarpanch was demanding to release the pressure on the old pressured land and allot the plot.

In fact other plots are open apart from the pressurized space. However, he refused to sign the charter. This plot has been sanctioned for a long time. However, by not signing the Sanad yet, an attempt has been made to deprive the eligible beneficiary under the government scheme of the benefits of the scheme. Thus, the Sarpanch does not cooperate in carrying out the important works of the government. Considering all the issues such as Aniyari Gram Panchayat is unable to perform its duty and considering the representations Morbi District Development Officer DD Jadeja has been removed from the post of Sarpanch.
