An incident of theft of diamonds worth 11.47 lakhs took place in a diamond factory in Nandu Doshi wadi in Katargam area of ​​Surat. After the theft, the worker locked the door from the outside and locked the workers in the room and fled and was caught on CCTV. The Katargam police, after the factory owner filed a police complaint, arrested the jeweler along with all the stolen items within a few hours.

A night shift worker working in a diamond factory stole fourpi, sarin and sawing process diamonds of 250 to 255 carats worth Rs. 11.47 lakh lying on the diamond cutting machine by making the other workers unconscious. After that, the door of the factory was closed from outside and the workers fled into the room.

Kalpeshbhai Baliram Sarle, who came to consciousness at seven o’clock in the morning, informed the factory owner that all the workers had been locked in the room. So Mehulbhai, the owner of the factory, immediately reached the factory.

Artisan caught on CCTV stealing diamonds
The factory owner opened the factory and checked the CCTV. In which the craftsman was seen fleeing after stealing millions of diamonds placed on the cutter machine. The absconding artisan Naresh Mali was caught on CCTV. On the basis of which, a theft complaint was lodged by the factory owner Mehulbhai Vania against the craftsman Naresh Mali in the Katargam police station.

The police sped up in a matter of hours
The Katargam police registered the complaint of the owner of the diamond factory and started an immediate investigation. Police deployed different teams to catch Naresh Mali on the basis of CCTV and police on the basis of surveillance team and human trafficking caught the gem artist Naresh Mali who had stolen diamonds from the factory in the calculated time and police seized all the stolen diamonds from him. Now the police have arrested Naresh in this matter and are conducting further investigation.
