In Narmada Bhavan of Vadodara city, Bharuch ACB has caught the Deputy Mamlatdar taking a bribe of 15 thousand. ACB has started further investigation in this matter.

SBI filed a case
A businessman who was unable to pay his home loan installments approached the female Mamlatdar to stop the action on the seal and a case was filed by SBI Bank in Vadodara District Collectorate. After the hearing of this case, the Vadodara District Collector asked the complainant to take action regarding the sealing of the house.

Demanded 25 thousand
Vadodara City Mamlatdar (East) KP Vasava sent a notice about sealing to the complainant and the complainant met the Mamlatdar (East) face to face asking for two months time and asked to meet Circle Officer Ketan Shah and Ketan Shah demanded 25 thousand rupees and 15,000 was decided at the end of Rakzak and on Monday the complainant approached Circle Officer Ketan Shah.

The officer was caught taking bribe
Naib Mamlatdar asked to give 15 thousand immediately. However, the merchant had only seven and a half thousand rupees. So after taking seven and a half thousand rupees, ACB was contacted today and a trap was set and Ketan Shah was caught red-handed by ACB while accepting another seven and a half thousand rupees. ACB conducted a search operation at the house of Naib Mamlatdar Ketan Shah located on Waghodia Road.
