A controversy has arisen over the Danah administration’s demolition of a tribal family’s house to relieve pressure on the land acquired in the monsoon rains. There is a lot of anger among the locals against these measures of the administration. In Kharapada village of Danah, the land acquired by the administration, on which the house of a Bhandari family was demolished by a team of Mamlatdar with JCB machines, has caused great resentment among the people. There are 4 other tribal houses nearby where the villagers are protesting the demolition.

It was also supposed to undergo demolition which has been put on hold for now and the family members have been given time till Tuesday. The administration has been told that, if you do not voluntarily vacate the place, we will have to take legal action. The tribal families demanded that the administration team be given some relief as the monsoon season is going on. But the administration team has given time till last Tuesday.
