In Patan city, although the construction of five properties is going on in full swing, after giving them a leave certificate, a representation will be made to the government regarding the fact that their impact fee has been paid against the rules to legalize their illegal construction. It was decided after a lengthy discussion in the Town Planning Committee held at the Patan Municipality. In the meeting held by the Town Planning Committee of Patan Municipality, T.P. Chairman Shailesh Patel, Town Planner Anilbhai Prajapati, Manoj K. Patel, Chief Officer Sandeep Patel, Jayesh Patel, Surveyor Dinesh Patel etc. were present.
During the discussion on some important topics in this meeting, after five properties in Patan were given permission, as their construction was not according to the rules of their permission, the issue of impact fee was paid even though the construction of these properties was still going on. In some cases the government circulars have been misinterpreted against properties that have been legalized under the Impact Fee Act. As per the law, the impact fee of the constructions before 30-9-22 is accepted.
Regarding such constructions, as per the report given by the inspectors of that ward, the impact fee file is ongoing even though the construction of the properties is going on.
It was discussed in this meeting that the date of the general meeting of Patan Municipality. According to the resolution dated 24-1-23, NOCs of government departments like railways, power companies, canals, archeology department, which have been given conditional construction permission by Patan municipality have to be submitted. It was decided to issue notice to all such construction permit holders by the municipality. In Patan, the three properties which have not received railway permission NOC, are given a notice of 7 days to submit the NOC and within 7 days they have to submit the NOC of the concerned department to the municipality. And the construction permission of those who do not submit will be cancelled. Three such constructions are underway near the railway track in Patan.
Apart from this, it was decided that the holders of ongoing commercial constructions in Patan city should submit the progress report within 7 days to the commercial constructions for which the municipality has given notice earlier but they have not submitted their progress report as per the provisions of CGDR and if it is not submitted, the leave certificate will be cancelled.
It was decided to issue a 30-day notice to the land owner who violated GCDR rules by not providing a ramp in front of Sardar Patel Vegetable Market on Patan’s Chansma Highway. It was decided to cancel the permission as per GDCR for the construction going on behind Gajanan complex near Denabank at old bus stand in Patan.
