Villagers of Dashawada village of Siddhapur taluk have decided to ban liquor. Also, an appeal was made to close down liquor shops in the village. However, legal action has been taken if the contamination of liquor does not stop.
Liquor addiction is rampant in the village and the youth of the village is ruining their lives by getting addicted to alcohol. Then the villagers in Dashawada village have passed a resolution banning the production and sale of alcohol.
It has also been decided to take police action against Easam, who was drinking alcohol in public in the village. The youth and elders of the village have appealed to the bootleggers to voluntarily close down the liquor dens for the good of the village, though they have also said that legal action will be taken by the villagers if the liquor dens are not closed.
