The cyclone that has formed in the southeast Arabian Sea has been named Beeparjoy by the Meteorological Department. According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclone is now 1,000 km west of the sea coast of Porbandar. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that the sea will become rough due to Biperjoy storm. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea due to the possibility of rough seas due to strong winds.

At present, all the boats have been anchored in the harbor area due to vacation till August 1 in the fishing season across the state. At that time, following the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Porbandar Fisherman Boat Association has also advised all the boat owners and fishermen to park their boats and boats in a safe place.
