An accused, who was arrested in the case of assaulting a police constable after asking him why he was sitting on the bank of a lake at Dandia Paliya near Valsad city, today one of the accused submitted a bail application to be released from jail in the Additional Sessions Court of Valsad. Taking into account the arguments of DGP Anil Tripathi on the application, Additional Sessions Court Judge TV Ahuja ordered the rejection of the bail application of the accused after he was released from jail.
