99.72 percentile in competitive entrance exam
Applicant got 57 percent in class-12 science stream. While 99.72 percentile appeared in National Level Competitive Entrance Examination of Bachelor of Architect. The petitioner said that the authority has changed the rule on June 7, 2023 to admit only those with 75 per cent or more in the attempt before class-12.
More time devoted to preparation for competitive exams
From 2020, according to this rule, Ajdar, who has passed the class in class-12, could also get admission if his name appears in the merit list after taking the entrance exam to the National Level Institute of Bachelor of Architects. Hence if the applicant had 75 percent rule at the time he took the exam, the applicant would have spent more time preparing for the competitive entrance exam. If this was the rule at that time, the applicant could get 75% by working hard, being smart.
A further hearing will be held on July 12
The applicant has been admitted to the institute in Jaipur after securing 99.70 percentile in the entrance examination. But at the time of taking admission, his admission will be canceled due to less than normal percentage in his class-12 science stream. Further hearing on this issue will be held on July 12.
