While many incidents of GST evasion through bogus billing have already come to light in Gujarat, one more such incident has come to light today. In which the office of M/s Kamanath Enterprise on Sadhuvaswani Road was raided by the CGST team. During this investigation, Darshak Ashwinbhai Chaniyara, partner of the firm, paid Rs. 217 crore worth of fake bills and a total of Rs. 39.30 crore tax was revealed to have been evaded. As the amount of theft was more than Rs.5 crore, viewer Ashvinbhai Chaniyara was arrested and ordered to be taken into judicial custody by the court produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate. Following which he has been arrested and further investigation has been conducted.

Girl commits suicide after fiance cancels dinner plan
In Bedi village on Morbi Road, Swati Keshubhai Davodra committed suicide by hanging herself at her house at 11.30 last night, causing grief in the family. In the evening, Swati called and told her fiance to go to a restaurant for dinner. First it was decided to go for dinner between the two. And she hanged herself at 11.30 pm by tying her scarf to a fan hook at her home. At present, the police have conducted further investigation in this regard.

A complaint of kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl from Kotharia Solvent area has been registered at Ajidem police station. According to the details received from the police, a 14-year-old girl of a tribal family living in Kotharia Solvent area went missing last day. So Ajidem informed the police. Husband commits suicide after quarrel with wife in Ambedkarnagar
Behind the ST Workshop in Rajkot, 36-year-old Mahendrabhai Chanabhai Parmar, a resident of Ambedkarnagar, committed suicide by hanging himself at his home last night when a Malviyanagar police convoy ran over. While the police were interrogating the family, the deceased took the step of tying a rope to hang the ceiling chandelier in his house at 11 o’clock. And it was revealed that the wife was sleeping at the time of the incident. On learning about this, the wife shifted her husband to the civil hospital with the help of locals. However, the doctor on duty declared him dead. The deceased Mahendrabhai was a labourer. He had a quarrel with his wife as he was unemployed as he had not been able to get work for a few days. It is assumed that steps have been taken in this regard. With his death, 1 son and 1 daughter have mourned the loss of their father’s umbrella in the family. Currently, the police are conducting further investigation.
