A prisoner serving a 20-year sentence in Vadodara Central Jail rape case escapes by jumping parole, complains to Raopura Police Station

Vadodara, A seasoned convict serving a 20-year sentence in a rape case at Vadodara Central Jail has escaped by jumping parole. Raopura police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation in this matter.

Prisoner escapes by jumping parole
Judicial Jailor of Vadodara Central Jail BR. Parmar has stated in the complaint lodged at Raopura police station that the convict Ranjit alias Haresh alias Suko Dahyabhai Gohel (res. Himmatpura, Merida, Distt. Nadiad, Dist. Kheda) is serving 20 years sentence in Vadodara Central Jail in case of pox of Nadiad Rural Police Station. He was granted parole for 15 days on 7 March and released on parole on 11 March. The prisoner was scheduled to appear in jail on March 27. However, he absconded by jumping parole by failing to appear. A complaint has been registered at Raopura police station in this matter.

Earlier, the prisoner of misdemeanor had escaped
Vijay Premchand Solanki (resident of Ektanagar, Ajwa Road, Vadodara) is serving a 10-year sentence in Vadodara Central Jail for the crime of rape in Borsad Town Police Station area, according to a complaint registered in Ravapura Police Station two days ago. Meanwhile, he was granted parole for 15 days on March 9. He was scheduled to appear on March 25 after completing his parole. However, he absconded without appearing. So Jailer B.R. Parmar filed a complaint against prisoner Vijay Solanki at Raopura police station.

Earlier, the murdered prisoner had also escaped
According to another complaint registered in Raopura Police Station two days ago, Sanjay Nanjibhai Valand (Rest. Village- Vasana (Ras), Date Borsad, Dist. Anand) is serving a life sentence in Vadodara Central Jail for the crime of murder. He was granted parole for 7 days on March 15 last and was released on parole on March 18. His parole was completed on 26 March. However, even after completion of parole, he did not appear and absconded. So Jailer B.R. Parmar has lodged a complaint against the prisoner Sanjay Valand in Raopura police station. Raopura police registered a case in this matter and conducted further investigation.
