Due to a problem in the transport site of the Road and Transport Department in the capital’s RTO office, the data of the applicants dating back two decades cannot be banklogged. As a result many applicants are being harassed. For the last one month, the applicants coming to Gandhinagar RTO office are returning with a sigh, although this problem is happening in the RTO office of the entire state and still no one can say when the problem will be solved.

Banklog operations have stopped in the RTO office of the state since last one month. Online operations are done on the transport site of the Road and Transport Department. But at present many applicants are having to push due to closure of operations.

Most of the RTO offices in the state have been made paperless. Then, if the license data of two decades ago has not been uploaded on the online site, it cannot be done again if the license is to be revised. Apart from that, in case the one year period of license renewal is completed to the applicants, it will be the turn of the applicants to issue a new license.

Due to lack of backlog many operations stopped
Road and Transport Department cannot carry out banking operations on the transport site. Mainly, if the license of an applicant is to be renewed and his data is not already online then the operation cannot be done. When changing the address, changing the photo, correcting the name, issuing a duplicate license, two wheeler license and four wheeler cannot be done.

Approximately 500 applications pending in RTO office
Approximately 500 different job applications are pending in the RTO office for the last one month. Applicants are demanding speedy rectification of damaged applications. Paperless operation is being done in RTO office.

Paper has been removed from all RTO offices in the state and emphasis has been placed on online operations. But after problems arise in the online operation, the applicants have to push. Aadhaar number based faceless system works in RTO office.
