State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel held a review meeting at the Collector’s office on Saturday to review the condition of the district as a result of heavy winds and rain due to Cyclone Biparjoi in Jamnagar district.
In this meeting, Collector BA Shah told the minister about the situation of the entire district after the storm. The minister gave necessary guidance and instructions to the office bearers and officers present in the meeting. Also, the officials of PGVCL were asked to restore power supply on priority in the areas where power supply has been disrupted. If there are any representations from the people, the minister gave instructions to the concerned officials to solve their problems.
As a result of advance planning of the system under the guidance of the Collector, there was no major loss in the district and no loss of life. The minister congratulated everyone for that. He also suggested to carry out cleaning campaign in the city and district and asked to carry out the planning so that the affected people are paid cash dol immediately.
