The train was on its way from Gandhinagar to Mumbai as scheduled today when the locomotive collided with a bullock on the close track near Valsad railway station and plunged 40 meters with the train. Then the train pilot immediately stopped the train.

Due to which the train had to stop for 20 minutes. Later, after removing the dead body of the bull from the track and checking the engine and coach of the train, the train was sent ahead.

PRO of Western Railway said- ‘No damage to the train’
Talking to Western Railway Division PRO Pradeep Sharma about the incident, he confirmed the incident. It was also said that there was no damage in the train and after the train stopped for 20 minutes, the train was checked and the train was sent from Valsad locoshed to go ahead.

Earlier also there were accidents involving stray cattle
In September 2022, within a month of the start of the Vande Bharat train, the train had three accidents. After which an accident happened for the fourth time in Anand. On 6 October 2022, two buffaloes were hit by the Vande Bharat Express train near Vatwa in Ahmedabad. When two buffaloes came in front of Vande Bharat train moving at full speed, the driver of the train tried to stop it, however, the two buffaloes collided with the train causing an accident, in which the front part of the train was damaged.
