Packets of narcotic substances are frequently found along the sea coast bordering West Kutch. Today, once again, it has come to light that a packet of charas weighing one kilogram of this type has been found in an uninherited condition by the Border Security Force personnel during the search operation. The packet was found at Kundi Bet, nine kilometers from Jakhou in Abdasa. A total of 29 packets of narcotics have been found since April.
According to the list released in this regard, in a special search operation by BSF, 01 packet of charas was found. BSF recovered 1 packet of charas weighing 01 kg from a deserted Kundi bat about 09 km from Jakhou coast. The packaging of the packet has an Afghan product printed on it and is similar to packets of charas previously found in the area. Since mid-April of the current year, 29 packets of charas have been recovered from Jakhou coast. An extensive search operation has been launched in the area by a detachment of BSF forces.
