Bhavik Dineshchandra Joshi, a youth living in Bhavnath Park-2, Hari Ghwa Road of the city, has filed a police complaint against usurer Shailendrasinh Gohil, Virendrasinh and Nanbha. According to the complaint, Shailendra Singh of Khodiyar Finance called the office in Yagnik Road, a complex opposite Imperial Hotel, in need of rupees five months ago. Where he said that he needed Rs.50 thousand, he was given Rs.40 thousand by deducting Rs.10 thousand from 50 thousand as interest and talked about paying the installment of Rs.5 thousand every week of 50 thousand.
After taking the money, Rs. 10 thousand rupees for two weeks were given online to Shailendra Singh by Nanbha working there. Later, for the second time, he took Rs. 50 thousand from Shailendra Singh as interest. Thus, he had to pay Rs. 10 thousand every week against the rupees borrowed twice, but the financial situation was not good and he could not pay the rupees.
So Shailendra Singh imposed a penalty of Rs.500 per day. Later, Shailendrasingh often used to extort himself on the phone to collect the interest amount. Meanwhile, he called himself to the office on the morning of last 10th. Where Shailendrasingh, Virendrasingh threatened to break his legs if he did not return the rupees. Frightened by the usurer’s threat, he was going home before drinking rat poison and calling his friend. Later, the friend took himself to the hospital for treatment. Where the division police have registered a crime.
