A tragedy occurred at Sodavadara village in Vartej due to heavy rains in Bhavnagar in the evening due to Cyclone Biparjoy. In which the goats were grazing in the wake of heavy rains, the goats were strangled in the walk. Both father and son died while trying to save these goats.

According to the information of this incident, while driving goats in Sodavadara village of Vartej, the goats got stuck in the walk, father Rambhai Meghabhai Parmar UM 55 and son Rajeshbhai Ramabhai Parmar UM 22 both died while trying to save them along with more than 20 goats. Died by drowning in water.

The father and son got stuck in the water of the river channel near the village of Bhavnagar while trying to save their cattle. In which due to heavy rains there has been a disturbance in the flow of rain near Bhandar and Sodavadara villages. The cattle got trapped in the bhungala (pipe) kept for draining water from the farmhouse near Bhandar and Sodavadara village. Father and son went to save it. – The son died, both the deceased are reported to be from Sodavadara village, the bodies of the deceased father and son were shifted to Wartej Government Hospital for post-mortem.
