It has been raining in Poshina since early morning on Saturday due to the impact of Cyclone Biparjoy in Sabarkantha district. Due to which the surrounding fields are flooded. So new Neer has come in Panari river. In the last 24 hours, four and a half inches of rain has been recorded in Poshina. It started raining this morning and two and a half inches of rain was recorded in six hours.

After the storm, its effects were seen in Sabarkantha for the third day in a row and in the last twenty-four hours rain was recorded all over the district. Low-lying areas were flooded due to heavy rains and strong winds. Four and a half inches of rain fell in Poshina during 24 hours. On the other hand, it started raining with heavy wind from early morning on Saturday. Due to which the fields were flooded in Poshina and surrounding areas including Lambdia, Delwara, Kotda. So water was seen flowing on the road in Poshi’s market. On the other hand, in Poshina, the Panari river came into water due to six inches of rain from yesterday morning to Saturday afternoon.

In the district, six out of eight talukas received rain between 6 am and 12 pm today. In which 05 mm of rain was recorded in Khed Brahma, 22 mm in Vijayanagar, 16 mm in Wadali, 26 mm in Idar, 10 mm in Himmatnagar, 02 mm in Talod and 59 mm in Poshina.
