Shops at Bharatnagar Complex in Angadi, Galateshwar were sealed by Bank of Baroda. The traders of 89 shops created an uproar over this. The shops in the complex were sealed by the bank for defaulting on a loan of Rs 2.12 crore. In which the hospital was closed, the patients suffered.

In Angadi which at that time due to lack of coordination of bank or Mamlatdar office or intentional encumbrance made the title clear, this land was sold to the builder by Nazimbanu Imranmia Malek. In which a complex of 89 shops was constructed by the builder during the year 2019-22. But the builder was not informed of this burden till date. For which savings capital shops were taken by small traders. Then on Friday afternoon the employees of Bank of Baroda and Sewalia Mamlatdar office arrived to seal with police presence.

Then there was a ruckus with the traders and bank employees. Later the sealing process was initiated by the bank. The owners of the property demanded justice by claiming to be the owner in the revenue records of the Mamlatdar office. While the owner of the complex stated that there was no burden on the borrower. It was stated that this property was transferred in his name through land transfer note taking his sale document. At that time, the goods of small traders’ shops in the complex were thrown out.

And the small children who came to the children’s hospital had to go out during the ongoing treatment. This situation was created despite the fact that the traders documented the shops taken from the builder and took possession of them and some traders had also taken loans.

Whatever the culprit, there should be a judicial inquiry into the matter
I took the sale from document in 2019 with title clear and 30 years of records. A notice was pasted by Bank of Baroda ten to fifteen days ago in this regard. So the shopkeeper also has difficulty in moving the goods suddenly. Whatever is at fault there should be a judicial inquiry.> Pramod Sharma, Builder.

Shops had to be vacated despite names in all documents
