Around 80 trees were being raised with cages by the village tree lovers organization at Manund village of Patan taluka on the bus stand road. But with the possibility that the plant may be stunted and destroyed due to the spraying of medicine by a mischievous man, the police officer of Balisana police station has submitted a written representation to the police officer of Balisana police station for investigation.

According to village leader and Patel Dixitkumar Ambalal of Sabamb Agro and herb producer, his FPO has been created by the Patidar in five villages and is working on agricultural reform and environment issues. Last year around 750 trees were planted in five villages.

Its preservation is also being systematically done with tree guards but it appears that an attempt has been made to destroy the trees planted in the road divider on the road divider from Gayatri Mandir to Bus Station Road in Manund village by spraying tree-burning medicine by some troublemaker. A written representation has been submitted to the Balisana Police Station to take action against anyone found guilty after proper investigation.
