Clouds prevailed in Jamnagar and Devbhoomi for the fifth day in a row, in which Megharaja, who descended in the morning in Khambhaliya, rained 7 inches of water in four hours, causing the rivers to overflow. Due to 21 inches of rain in three days, the headquarters of Devbhoomi became waterlogged. While one to two and a half inches of water rained in other places including Jamnagar and Dwarka. Heavy rain started in the morning when Meghraja played a stormy innings in Khambhalia on Saturday. Around eight o’clock, it started raining seven inches in four hours. During that time, 21 inches of rain had fallen in three days. Small and large rivers were flooded due to heavy rains in the city and surrounding rural areas.

While the rain started in the morning in Bhanwad Panthak of Devbhoomi, it rained two and a half inches of water by afternoon. In Yatradham Dwarka, it rained for the third consecutive day and another inch of water rained.

While in Jamnagar and Lalpur, more than one and a half inches of water rained from morning to afternoon, Jodia also received two and a half inches of rain by evening, while half an inch of rain fell in Kalavd by afternoon.

Ten cattle were strangled in Khambhaliya, four were rescued
In heavy rain in Khambhaliya, about 10 cattle got stuck in rainwater stream near Mahaprabhuji seat in which four cattle were rescued by Animal Care and other six animals got stuck.

Flooding of rural roads due to heavy rains
Due to heavy rains for the third day in a row, most of the roads in the city, including some in the rural areas, have been washed away, causing potholes on the roads.

Another Kandorana Dam overflow of Devbhoomi
A total of 9 dams have overflowed in Devbhoomi on Saturday morning due to the overflow of one more Kandorana Dam till noon. The water level reached 80% till 4 pm in the same ghee dam as Jivadori of Khambhalia.
