The administration claims to have provided village-to-village paved roads, but there are many areas in the hinterland where there are no paved roads after independence. The villagers have submitted a petition to the Aravalli District Collector with the demand of a paved road.
It is about Anadapur village of Modasa taluk, this village has a population of 150 houses. The road is currently unpaved in the different planks of these people. In the monsoons, huge potholes have fallen with mud. The people of the village find it difficult to move around. Little bugs are forced to walk the muddy road to school. Even 108 service is not available during illness. Even at the time of delivery, you have to carry the baby in a cot or jolly. The villagers are very disturbed by such many problems.
Villagers have presented several times in the system regarding this matter. No paved road has been found in this village since independence. Officials come following the submission of villagers. But Thala keeps making promises. Then the villagers got fed up and gave a petition to the Aravalli District Collector today and if the paved road work is not started in the village in the next 10 days, Gandhi Chindhyamarg has raised the alarm of agitation.
