- An Explanation Was Sought From 61 Legislators Regarding The Complaint, 20 Of Which Were Referred To The Disciplinary Committee Of The Bar Council Of Gujarat.

About 1.15 lakh lawyers are affiliated with Gujarat Bar Council. These advocates are registered under the Advocates Act 1961. All these lawyers have to work according to the rules with their client, court and fellow lawyers under this law. If a lawyer does not act accordingly, a complaint can be filed against him in the Bar Council of Gujarat for violation of Section 35 of the Advocates Acts, 1961. For this, the complaint has to be made in the format prescribed in the rules of the Bar Council of India.
A general meeting of the Bar Council of Gujarat was held today. In which the office bearers of the council were present. In this meeting, a complaint against 60 legislators from Gujarat was filed in the last 6 months. When a total of 97 complaints were taken up. In which an explanation has been sought from 61 legislators regarding the complaint. While the complaint of about 20 legislators has been sent to the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of Gujarat.
In addition, the results of Bar Council of India All India Bar Exam at Rajkot Center held on 05 February 2023 in the Executive Committee of Bar Council of Gujarat have been cancelled. For that, a delegation of the Bar Council of Gujarat will go to meet the Chairman of the Bar Council of India in a week to prevent injustice to 04 thousand students at Rajkot Centre.
Bar Council of Gujarat Chairman Nalin Patel, Vice Chairman Hitesh Patel, Executive Committee Chairman Hitendra Golwala, Bar Council of India member Dilip Patel, Anil Kella, CK Patel, Deepen Dave etc. were present in this meeting.
