Bus number GJ 18Z7025 from Selba left for Valsad at Navsari ST bus depot. In which 65-year-old moped driver Ismail G (Washwell) was trying to get out from the left side of the bus while passing a short distance from the ST bus depot. Meanwhile, the ST bus hit the road due to an accident and died on the spot as the rear tire fell down. The driver of the ST bus ran away from the scene of the accident.

After reporting the accident, the town police reached the spot. The police have shifted the body of the deceased to the civil hospital for post-mortem. After the bus driver appeared at the Navsari town police station, the Navsari town police registered a case of accidental death and started the investigation.
