Near Mandan village of Nandod taluka of Narmada district on last Monday July 4, three robbers on bikes beat up a truck driver and a cleaner loaded with plastic grains and robbed ten thousand in cash and two mobile phones. Then Narmada LCB nabbed one of the accused who committed the crime of robbery. While two other absconding accused have been declared wanted and action has been taken to nab them. Thus Narmada LCB police solved the crime of robbery in a matter of hours.

Complainant truck driver Sagar Ramrao Patil dt. On July 4, a truck loaded with plastic granules from Ahmedabad left for Java at Dhulia. At that time, near Mandan village of Nandod taluka of Narmada district, three youths of 18 to 25 years of age who came on a bike suddenly stopped the bike in the middle of the road, climbed into the cabin of the truck, beat up the driver and the cleaner and robbed them of ten thousand cash and two mobile phones.

Narmada LCB Po.Ins. JB Khambhala and his team men were returning to Rajpipla from VVIP Movement Sagabara. So when the driver and the cleaner stopped them and told them about the incident, the police chased the accused in the direction shown by the driver. The bike of the accused got stuck in the mud between Amletha and Sandara village. While the other two accused Manish Vasava and Uday Nilesh Vasava took advantage of the darkness and escaped.

The police seized 6600 cash, three mobile phones and the bike used in the crime from the arrested accused and arrested him. While the two accused who escaped have been declared wanted and action has been taken to nab them. Thus Narmada LCB solved the crime of robbery in a matter of hours.
