A suspicious echo trace was made after continuous thefts in quarries in Narmada district by forming different teams and trying to trace the smugglers on the basis of CCTV cameras and technical surveillance.
It was found that Ashwin was living in the village of Eko Wadwa. On investigation, it was found that Ashwin Manilal Vasava along with his friends were going to sell towards Ankleshwar by carrying a quantity of suspected copper wire and other miscellaneous scrap in two different eco vehicles.
Following this, the LCB team quickly reached Dedyapada in private vehicles, chased the Echo vehicles and cordoned off both the Echo vehicles near Koyliwav and arrested 6 persons. On inspection of both the cars, they found large and small brass size heavy rod-like pieces of black copper wire and LEDs. Halogen light detected. On questioning, they admitted that the goods were stolen and handed them over to the Tilakwada police.

A suspicious car was found with the help of technical surveillance after forming teams to check the CCTV footage of the area regarding the thefts in different quarries of the district.
