In Jamnagar, State Agriculture Minister Raghavjibhai Patel organized village meetings in Morkanda and Khimlia villages and reviewed the various development works going on in the rural areas.

On this occasion, the minister said that the state government is determined to solve the water problem in the rural areas. To meet the demand of drinking water and irrigation water, the state government has implemented many projects and schemes at the cost of crores of rupees. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, today the country is filling the gap of development and the central and state governments are constantly striving for the development of the country in all fields. The fact that the Narmada is reaching even the remotest villages today shows the determination of the state government for the well-being of the citizens. With the addition of various facilities, today the villages have also become developed and equipped like the city.

Minister launching Samp at Morkanda
17,800 meters of DI pipeline, 38,250 meters of PVC pipeline, 27 underground sumps, 1 elevated tank, 1 pump house, pumping machinery and headworks are to be carried out under the Khijdia Group Scheme Upgradation at a cost of Rs.18.42 crore. Out of which, Minister Raghavjibhai Patel announced the project to be built at Morkanda village.

Leaders on this occasion Dr. Vinubhai Bhanderi, Kumarpal Singh Rana, Mukundabhai Sabhaya, Ramjibhai Parmar, Kanjibhai Parmar, Mahendra Singh Jadeja, Bhawanbhai Chauhan, Vipul Singh Jadeja, Giriraj Singh Jadeja, Bharatbhai Sonagara and a large number of local villagers were present.
